PaulHUGHESOn the 8th September, peacefully at home in the arms of his loving family, Paul aged 70 years. Beloved Husband of Ellie, much loved Dad of Lewis and Becky, Brother of Sheila and friend to many. Paul will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Paul's funeral will be held on Thursday the 20th September, 11.00am at St Chads Church, New Moston, Manchester, followed by Oldham Crematorium, Hollinwood. Sorry to hear of Paul's passing & sorry I can't make the funeral. Memories don't die like people do and Paul and I shared adventures, some of which you would not believe.
If Paul can hear me-I remember that freezing night in 1964 on the A5 near Brownhills during our hitch back from London.I still feel guilty over our tussle for the rubber door mat which was the only thing between us and hypothermia. Luckily, we found a place out of the cold wind.
