The obituary notice of Enid HUGILL

We are immensely grateful to Miss Enid Hugill for the many years of service she gave to the French exchange programme between Noisy-le -Sec and Hebburn/ Jarrow pupils . She provided secondary school pupils in the borough with the opportunity of enhancing their ability to speak French and to learn first hand about French life and culture. But most importantly , her efforts to match individuals on both sides of the channel provided a unique opportunity to forge solid connections and often resulted in deep and life long friendships . We are eternally grateful to her .
