He was the much loved husband of Jeanne, dearly loved dad of Simon, Nigel and Sally and adored papa of Lucy, Holly, Annabel, Ophelia, Sam and Kate. Also loved father in law of Stephanie and Michael, brother of Clifford and the late Alwyn. A service to celebrate Hughie's life will be held at Manchester Cathedral on Friday 24th November 2017 at 11.30am, followed by private committal. Family flowers only and no black ties.
