Very sad News to hear about Damian
I too knew him well from St Vincent`s Primary School
I think we were both in Mrs Smiths Class 1974/75
I Remember We had a lot of giggles together messing around when we should have been listening and looking at the Blackboard..
RIP Damien

I am very sad to hear of Damian’s passing. He was my best friend for many years until I moved away from Rochdale. He was a gentle and kind person with a great Sense of humor. Damian and I were in the Air Cadets and St.John’s Ambulance together as teenagers, and alter boys at St.Vincents Church for years. One of my best memories of him, was when we got to take out the St.John’s ambulance by ourselves. Damian drove, and we rode all around Rochdale sounding the alarms and we drove like fools, never laughed so hard. Ms. Rita and Chris, my thoughts are with you both. Rest in peace my friend.
