(John)MARQUISSTEWART Viewfield Cottage, Uig. Very suddenly, but peacefully, at Portree Hospital, Isle of Skye, on Tuesday 23rd June 2015, aged 73. Cherished husband of Evelyn, much loved uncle of Lynne, Andrew and Joanna and great-uncle of Graeme, dear brother-in-law of Mhairi, Joyce and Bobby, and a good friend to many. A memorial service will take place at Uig Free Church at 11a.m. on Wednesday 1st July 2015, to which all friends are warmly invited. A service of committal will take place at Woodside Crematorium, Paisley at 1p.m. on Thursday 2nd July 2015 and, again, all are warmly invited to attend. No flowers, please, but donations in lieu, if desired, to Portree Hospital League of Friends. "Safe in the arms of Jesus".
