John AntonyNICHOLSFormerly of Broomy Fields Farm, Longdon, passed away aged 89 after a long illness. Tony was a former Chairman of Lichfield District Council, Chairman of Staffordshire Agricultural Society and County Chairman of Staffordshire NFU. The family are very grateful for the support they have received. Special thanks to all the people who due to covid restrictions were unable to attend the funeral but instead stood on Longdon Green to pay their respects as the funeral cortege passed through the village. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Midlands Air Ambulance or St Giles hospice via the funeral director - CT & L Marshall Hay Lane Farm, Longdon.
