MairROBERTSROBERTS - MAIR December 18, 2014. Peacefully at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor of Tegfan, Friog, Fairbourne, aged 71 years. Beloved wife of Emyr, dear mother of Helen and Alan. Service at Aberystwyth Crematorium on Monday 29th December for the family only. Followed by a service of thanksgiving for her life at St. Cynon's Church, Fairbourne at 3pm. No mourning clothes to be worn by request. No flowers. Donations in lieu gratefully received if desired towards Alaw Ward, Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor c/o Glyn Rees & Son Funeral Directors, Dinas Mawddwy, Machynlleth, Powys, SY20 9JD. Tel : 01650 531 240.

Gone, missed, though not forgotten


Emyr, so sorry for your loss, so really sad to learn of Mair's passing. I have fond memories of her (of you too), always stopping her bike to talk to me. On my family return from abroad, her sister, Olwen used to walk me to Fairbourne school from Tawelfan (1962ish). My thoughts are with you, even though it's been some months since Mair was taken from you, your children (who I knew of but never actually met) and her family and friends.
