Funeral service to be held in the Top Chapel at Haycombe on Tuesday 23rd January at 11am, followed by a burial. Worked for Les in 1968 he was a very fair man who would not let anyone take chances in the business his wife was also there we all got on well I nearly always went home with the Van saved petrol think he liked my 1938 Hillman 10 he always said keep in inside we will look after it.
Two things stick in my mind remember him saying they delivered the Concrete by the time I got home to Weston it had gone off and the Fridge at work would work if we tipped it upside down. Never a cross word Les - Peter

So sorry to hear of Les's passing he was my last cousin. He was a wonderful man and will be sadly missed by his family, and although i haven't seen Les for many years i still have wonderful memories of our childhood at Tucking-Mill and Monkton Combe, RIP Les.
