Beatrice (Betty) Nee HandleySWALLOWOn 21st May, 2016 Suddenly on Ward 15, Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, after a short illness courageously borne, aged 83 years. Betty, the devoted wife of the late Billy, much loved mum of Karen and Steven, lovely grandma to Reuben and Leah, dear sister of Molly, Muriel and the late Joan, and a good friend to many. Will friends please meet for service at St. Bartholomew's Church, Meltham on Thursday June 2nd 2016 at 1:30pm to be followed by interment at Hey Lane Cemetery. Family flowers only please, but donations would be appreciated for the Intensive Care Unit at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary for which a plate will be available at the service.
