Peacefully in hospital on 4th December, aged 92 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Elsie, loving father of Gillian and Uncle of Su. A step grandfather of Mark and Laura and a step great grandfather.
Friends, please meet for service at St Mary and St Cuthberts Church Chester Le Street on Wednesday 7th January at 11am followed by Committal at Birtley Crematorium.
All welcome to Chester Le Street Cricket Club for refreshments afterwards. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be sent to The Primary Club - financially supporting grassroots visually impaired sports in the U.K. funded by members who join when they are out first ball in any form of cricket.
