Ruth ElizabethWATSON(née Alderson) Born: 17th January 1938, Coniscliffe Nursing Home, Darlington. Passed away 4th July 2022, Dumfries, Scotland, Aged 84. Daughter of Philip Bonner Alderson and Isabella May Alderson formerly of Beal House, Thornton-le-Street, Thirsk. Beloved wife of Leslie Watson (deceased). Proud and loving mother of Diane, Fiona and Rachel. Loving and much loved Granny to Phoebe, Granny Ruthie to Alejandro and Mor Mor to Thomas and Benjamin. Sister, aunt, cousin, mother-in-law and very dear friend to many. Ruth, formerly residing in Dumfries and Galloway, was laid to rest at St Leonard's Church, Thornton-le-Street, Thirsk on 27th July 2022. Kind, loving, and caring to all, unique sense of humour, a strong, determined and cheerful individual to the end. Always loved, forever in our thoughts. Ruth's family would like to sincerely thank all the staff at the Alexandra Unit, Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary for their care and support.
