JoanWATSON(Blagdon) passed peacefully in hospital 27th April 2023, aged 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Norman, dearly loved mother of Malcolm, Bryan and Colin, mother-in-law of Maureen, Sylvia and Jenny, grandmother of Duncan, Jane, Julie, Joanne, Doug, Tanya, Wayne and Daniel, great-grandmother of Jacob, Louis, Darcy, Joseph and Georgie. Joan will be missed, loved and remembered by all. Private family committal to be held at Cowpen Crematorium. Friends please meet for memorial service at St. Mary's Church, Stannington on Tuesday 16th May, 1:00pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to The British Heart Foundation for which a box will be provided at church. All welcome for refreshments afterwards at the Ridley Arms, Stannington. Enquiries c/o John Grenfell & Son Funeral Directors, Bedlington. Tel 01670 823204.

So sad you're no longer with us dear Joan. We have some lovely memories and lots of photos taken in past years when our families were young.

Remembering Joan with great fondness as a substitute 'Big Sister' when I was a young Mum and when Joan's boys were teenagers. Lovely person with lovely nature. I have so much to thank Joan for.We send our condolences to Malcolm, Brian, Colin and respective families. Avril and Walter.

A truely lovely woman.
It was a pleasure, everytime we were visiting her in her home and our Daughter, Georgia, used to love visiting and playing in Joan's immaculate garden.
