Gwyn NicholasWILLIAMSOn April 27th, 2023, Gwyn, aged 86 years, formerly of Llantwit Major, sadly passed away following a period of illness. Loving Husband, Father, Grancher, Brother and Uncle. Alumni of University College Wales, Aberystwyth, Gwyn was a lifelong teacher who ended his career supply teaching in the Glamorgan area for many years. He was a member of Bridgend Male Voice Choir for nearly thirty years. Resting at the Private Funeral Home of W. James & Son, Fonmon until the thanksgiving service of his life to be held on Thursday May 25th at 12.15, at St Illtud's Church which is open to all who wish to attend. This will be followed by a family service at Barry Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of floral tributes if desired, may be sent to Ty Hafan, Hayes Road, Sully CF64 5XX in memory of Gwyn. A donation collection will be provided at the Service. Thank you so much for choosing to support Tŷ Hafan, in memory of the late Gwyn Nicholas Williams. 


We are so very sorry to hear about the passing of Gwyn. On behalf of us all at Tŷ Hafan please accept our heartfelt condolences. Gwyn was a very special person and we can see from your Tribute page they were dearly loved by all of the family. They will be missed.



I hope you and your family take comfort in knowing that your support will extend a caring hand in our hospice and the local community – providing comfort to the many families and children that Tŷ Hafan support. Tŷ Hafan is a wonderful place full of love, laughter and cherished memories, ensuring a short life is a full life. These memories are something our families will treasure forever, just as you will treasure your memories of Gwyn. I really hope that can give you some solace during this incredibly sad time.
