Ronald DavidWILLIAMSRon passed away peacefully at home on Sunday 5th November, with his family at his side and wife of 64 years holding his hand. Loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Ron was also a stalwart of the brass band community across the county having been the bandmaster for many local bands, including the Gloucestershire Police Band and the Band of The Royal Gloucestershire Hussars. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. Funeral service to take place at Cheltenham Crematorium, Oak Chapel on Wednesday 22nd November at 2.00pm. Ron was a true traditionalist so we politely ask for no bright colours, denim or trainers. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu for Longfield Community Hospice may be sent by cheque c/o Michael Gamble Funeral Directors, Station House, Station Road, Stroud GL5 3AR or online at https://ronald-david-williams.muchloved.com/

Thank you so much for thinking of us in memory of Ron.

We hope it brings you comfort to know that every donation will make a real difference to others in the community and it is a fitting tribute to the life of Ron.

As a local charity, all of our services are offered for free, this is only possible thanks to the kindness and generosity of those in the local community who support our work. We simply cannot thank you enough for making our work possible and enabling us to continue offering our services now and in the future.

Your kindness and support is greatly appreciated.

With kind regards,

Becky, Longfield Community Hospice
