BillBYFORDOn Friday 6th September peacefully in Harrogate District Hospital, aged 69 years.

He was the beloved Husband of Honor, much loved Father of Ella and Father-In-Law to Rick, Pop Pops to Mary and Fred. He was a loved Son, Brother, Brother-in-law and Uncle. Bill will be greatly missed by the many people who knew him.

Funeral Service on Friday 11th October at 11-00am at St Wilfrid's Church, Duchy Road, Harrogate HG1 2EY.

Mr Byford became the head teacher of St Antony’s Catholic College the year I started back in 2001! I’ll never forget his support and help when nobody else would and the pride on his face the day I got my GCSE results even though they weren’t exactly what I had hoped for. Will never forget you Sir, may paradise be rocking along with you forever more.

Hello,
I'm so sad to hear of Bill's passing. Back in 1980's when I was a mixed up confused teenager at Calder High School he was a guiding light. He saw something in me that I had no idea was there and could see through my bad behaviour. Music was a common denominator and I will be forever grateful for his patience and insight. I have not seen him for over 40 years but I remember him fondly and wish the family well in there time of sadness. His legacy will live on in others.
