My thoughts & prayers are with all of Alan's family at this very sad time.
I remember him making the brave decision to move to his own premises in Old Road A -in - M in January 1989. My husband did most of the joinery work on these premises.
People would say " Oh! I want Alan Jones to do me...!"
Alan, was the most courteous person I have ever had the privilege to meet.
I am sure almost ALL of Ashton - in - Makerfield will be feeling the loss of such a wonderful unassuming, courteous man.
May God Bless him and his dear family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all on 6th January.
God Bless xx
