FredTURTLEPassed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on 3rd February 2019, aged 81 years. Much loved husband to Joyce, loved brother to John, adored dad to Julie, Jeanette and Angela, father-in-law to Joe, Rob and Ian, Loving grandad to Jade, Lucy, Jodie, James, Laura, Danniella and Tom, great-grandad to Sophia and a good friend to many. Funeral Wednesday 27th February at Markeaton Crematorium in the Main Chapel, service at 12:00pm. My Godfather. RIP Fred. Fond memories as a child of visiting in Spondon with my mum and playing with Julie, Jeanette and later, Angela, in the late 1960s/early 70s. A true friend and, I think, colleague, of my father in 1950s/60s. Pleased you and Joyce attended my wedding, the first ever at Morley Hayes, in 1987. Played cricket against you in early 80s at Belper Amateurs ground.
