David EdwardCOLLYER-BACONOf Swanwick, Derbyshire. Sadly passed away, aged 78 years. He was born in Belper and lived in Derbyshire all of his life. David worked as a Police Sergeant in the Derbyshire Constabulary before he retired after 30 years service. David was a good amateur singer and loved being involved in local choirs including the Amber Valley Voices. Before covid he was Father Christmas in the Santa's Grotto at Scotland Nurseries, Tansley. His hobbies were travelling and walking. David leaves wife, Shirley and his children Sarah Hartley and Russell Bacon. 2 grandchildren, James and Thomas Hartley. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday 3rd December at St Andrews Church, Swanwick 1pm. Followed by commital at Amber Valley Crematorium at 2pm.
