DonCUTHELPassed away peacefully in St Margaret's Hospice, Taunton on 20th December 2019, aged 85 years. Having lived in Plymouth for most of his life, Don was a keen Albacore sailor in the seventies, when he and wife Mary (neé Crowther), were members of The Royal Plymouth Corinthian Yacht Club. Later, Don enjoyed racing his GK24 Genghis Khan 'around the cans' in Plymouth Sound, and with Mary was a keen Jazz fan and member of the Plymouth Jazz Club for many years. Father to Christine and Jane and grandfather to Sam. Don and his 'salty' stories will be missed by all who knew him. A loving husband to Mary, who passed away in November 2018, Don has 'slipped his moorings' for the last time and is now at peace on the 'Unknown shore'. Funeral to be held at Taunton Deane Crematorium on Monday 20th January at 12.00pm. Family flowers only, donations to RNLI and St. Margaret's Hospice, Taunton, c/o B.
