ElizabethWEIREdie and Eileen would like to thank all family and friends who attended Elizabeth's funeral on 10th February and offered words of sympathy and support afterwards. Many hands contributed to her beautiful send-off, so grateful thanks also to the Rev. Richard Allen for his thoughtful and comforting service, to New Abbey Parish Church, to Liz Robertson for exquisite floral tributes (and much more), to Jardine Funeral Directors for dignified arrangements, to Cartner Catering and New Abbey Parish Hall for fine refreshments and to Rachael Mair at Braidwoods Solicitors for excellent coordination.
Elizabeth received immaculate care in her final days from staff in the High Dependency and Palliative Care Units at Dumfries Infirmary, which was highly appreciated by her loved ones.
Finally, thank you for the retiring donations in memory of Elizabeth, which will be used as she wished to support the New Abbey Village Hall and Hanging Basket Funds.
