I am so greatful and happy to have known Dorothy my sister Ann's sister in law. Any time spent in the company of Dorothy and David was joyous. The last time was in February 2023 when Kimberley and me travelled up from England and enjoyed two days in Edinburgh. We were blessed with unreasonable Scottish Sunshine Margaret walked the legs off us up and down the royal mile. Dorothy and David came over for dinner. May God keep you Dorothy Noel

So saddened to read of Dorothy’s passing. I was lucky enough to be taught by her for two years in Viewlands in the 70s. She was an amazing teacher, caring, encouraging, engaging and a lot of fun! We kept in touch for nearly 50 years after I moved from Perth. She was a very special lady and I will treasure all my happy memories of her. Much love to David and all the family.

Miss Alexander was a wonderful teacher, teaching to an extraordinary high standard for primary school. In return she expected the best from her pupils. She was a consummate professional in the classroom but had a very caring nature and a tremendous sense of humour. 45 years ago I left her primary seven class and I’ve met her many times since. She was always so delighted to learn what I was doing & keep updated. We were very lucky to be at Viewlands PS in the 1970s.

I remember Miss Alexander from my days at the Junior Academy/Viewlands in the 60's. Always smiling and cheerful.
