Dear Arthur, you worked so hard to ensure that the Evening Post was delivered, six afternoons a week from the Yeovil depot over a wide area of South Somerset - with stop press attached. You were there when sports fans queued for the Green 'Un on Saturday nights. You could deal with any crisis and your cheerful presence made all the difference - reporter Tina Rowe and photographer Steve Roberts

Remembering such a lovely gentleman, we had some wonderful times when Roma & myself were in the wheelchair linedancing group.
RIP Arthur. Never forgotten.

I've known Arthur for over 70 years and although I've lived abroad for over 50 of them when I returned toYeovil we always had a great chat, he took my Mum Annie Dungey to the airport when she had her first and only plane ride to Canada. Was a commanding presence in the Town, Rest in Peace Arthur.
