Sadly I'm not able to make Mr T's funeral due to work commitments, as such I would like to post my own tribute to a man dearly loved and fondly liked by so many.
Knowing Mr T has been a privilege, though the 1980/90 years of playing with a wonderful gifted team of footballers (Allestree FC) it would not have been the same without our ever present Mr T. Manager, kit man, physio (he always said I had skinny ankles) and always happy we could not have functioned without this man.
Alongside a great sense of humour he did know his football, albeit we thought we knew better!!
If those years could be rolled back, I'm sure we would all take them.
We will truly miss you Mr T, Football for us young men at the time would not have been the same without you and Costa coffee shop won't be for me now either.
