Beloved husband of Rose, much loved father to Peter, Perry and Lee. A dear grandpa to Frances, Daniel, Nicole, Adam, Lauren, Lewis, Natalie and Kate. Will be sadly missed. Funeral service at Great Glen crematorium on Monday 2nd October at 11.30am. Flowers and further enquiries please

Ian was my manager when I started work in 1969. I also know of the family as my grandma lived a few doors down from his mum and dad. I have fond memories of my time working with Ian, a man of good morals and values. He taught me a lot about discipline and doing things the right way, no doubt people who knew him know what I mean. He was strong and fair and will be missed. My regret is I will not be able to attend the funeral but on the day I will be saying a prayer for him and the family. Many blessings to all the family Chris and Sue Blackwell.
