MaureenWALKERAtkin On August 28th, 2017 Maureen Walker of Marsden passed away at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, following a short illness. Maureen was married to Charles Walker (deceased), also of Marsden for 57 years. Maureen was a loving sister to Joan Ellis (deceased). She was a devoted mother to Robert and Graham, mother-in-law to Thelma and Elizabeth, and a loving Grandma to Charlie, George, Daniel and Laura. Maureen's special joy in the last few years of her life was to become Great Grandma to Iris and Molly. As a secretary at Colne Valley High School for many years, Maureen will be remembered fondly by many former pupils and teachers. A celebration of Maureen's life will take place at Huddersfield Crematorium at 11.15am on Tuesday 12th September.
