George FrederickRIDGEONDied peacefully on 16th April 2022 aged 78 years. George was a larger than life character who will be missed by his family and many friends. He was a fireman, Monster Raving Looney party candidate and great charity fundraiser. A service to celebrate his life will be held at Gloucester Crematorium on Thursday 26th May 2022 at 2.00pm. George requested that those attending the service wear red, white and/or blue, leathers or country & western clothes. No flowers. Donations in memory of George welcome for Spinal Research and may be made online at https://georgeridgeon.muchloved.com The funeral will be streamed and available for 28 days please contact Co-operative Funeralcare, for details. A real gent & legend, spent many times with George at Stoke Mandeville games, bowling, on international trips & of course the IOM, what a trip that was, Ridgeon rode again & we got washed out after the tent got hit by lightning

so many fond memories of
George when he was younger. he and my dad Geoff Fivash raced together. Always knew when George was in the house such a loud infectious laugh. loved watching the racing when I was younger. they can now race together again in heaven. love always
