Margaret was such a warm, bubbly, and amazingly strong and intelligent woman with a great sense of humour. She was also a talented creative writer, and she absolutely blew me away when she delivered her story makers creative writing workshop. She had the whole room of workshop attendees immediately at ease, everyone was laughing and bantering from start to finish as if they'd known each other for years, and the workshop was such high quality, and this was all down to Margaret's skill as a teacher. She was exceptional in the role, a real natural. Creative writing was one of Margaret's joys for sure. Most of all from what I knew of her, she was a really wonderful person and someone who I was very fond of during the times I spent getting to know her during the story maker's project.

She seemed to have a happy life between being part of the Scribblers with her friends and enjoying her family. Margaret's last email to me ended with
"Hope the sunshine continues for the weekend. I’ve got three mothers day treats lined up so far! (manicure, lunch and cocktails, fancy tea on the Sunday).
Have a lovely weekend

xxMargaret"

She was taken too soon. My thoughts are with Margaret's family and close friends.
