Doug you were such a gentle and kind soul, you were too pure for this world, you were a fantastic artist for which, I will always be your biggest fan!! Doug I want you to know that I understand why you had to leave and find the peace and love you have craved all your life with the lord Jesus Christ,. I will no longer spend my birthday as "just another day" and every time I walk past your house or see the birds feeding in my garden I will have an ache in my heart for you. I speak for myself and my family when I say that we loved you so very much, will keep you around with the art you gave me Doug, rest easy now Sarah, Steve, Sadie, Steffie and Katie-Rose xx oh and not forgetting of course Sassie and Shaydie, they send lots of sniffs and licks xxxxx goodbye for now my friend xxxxx
