GaryBIRCHMOREGary, of Perrancombe, Perranporth, so very sadly passed away unexpectedly at home on the 18th June 2026, aged 65.
Originally from London, Gary and his wife Rachel moved to Cornwall over 25 years ago, and opened 'Rebecca's Fudge Shop in Perranporth in memory of their daughter. He was a well known, keen and vocal fan of West Ham United Football Club within the community!
He will be missed by his many friends and family; but none more than his loving wife Rachel, and cherished son Michael, daughter-in-law Sophie, and Grandon's Joey and Freddie.
Gary's funeral service will be held at St Michaels Church, Perranporth, TR6 0HG, on Monday 13th July 2026 at 2:30pm. Smart appropriate attire please, but please wear something with a splash of colour if you would like.
Preceding his funeral service, the funeral cortege will travel along St Pirans Road, pausing briefly at Rebecca's Fudge Shop at approximately 2.10pm, to allow for his fellow local business owners and their employees to pay their respects.
Following the service, all are warmly invited to return to The Green Parrot (Wetherspoons) to raise a glass in memory of Gary.
Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Gary will be to benefit The Brain Tumour Charity. Donations may be received by retiring collection, online or sent to the Funeral Director at the address below.
