To Jenny and Kate,
I received the news of your Mothers passing from Arthur Hazeldine with whom I keep I in touch with in the village. I write on behalf of Becky and Alan Knox and send our sympathy to you and your families. Becky and Dad are both on the Isle of Man and I am based in Shrewsbury. It was actually in Shrewsbury that I last saw Daphne on a U3A visit some years ago.

We often recall happy times spent in Waddington, and my Dad often asks about the friends he and my mum Mary enjoyed socialising with. I travel over to the Isle of Man regularly. Dad is in a Care Home which is close to Becky and her family.

I am sorry that I am unable to attend Daphnes funeral as over on the Isle of Man but send our love and thoughts to you all at this time.
