For our dear friend Pete.

Pete was a true gentleman to all who knew him.

He was devoted to Carol and his Family who he was so proud of.

Always happy to share a story or two with you.

We always enjoyed our times we all shared together whenever we met up.

Pete always had a smile for you

Pete’s loss has left an irreparable hole in all our lives and it’s taken some time to find the words.

I believe Pete wanted to make everyone feel special – and he succeeded. To so many people he was kind, thoughtful and quietly selfless; a true gentleman who always seemed to put others’ needs before his own. But he was also a gentle, kind and loving father figure and Grandad. Watching his face light up when he was with his grandchildren, and theirs with him, was a privilege. He didn’t just love them – he delighted in them. And they delighted in him.

He listened to every story, joined in every game, laughed with them, made time for them, and always made them feel that whatever they wanted to share was the most important thing in the world. They will carry that love with them for the rest of their lives, as will we all.

Thank you for every game, every conversation, every laugh and every memory. We will all miss you terribly and will always be grateful to have had you in our lives.

Love always,

Rob, Soraiya, Orion and Elara xxx

It is often said friends are the family we choose therefore we were so fortunate to have you in our family. You had a rare gift of being fiercely loyal, generous with your time and helping the wider community. We are honoured to call you "family"and to the boys, Stephen and Philip their Uncle Peter. Rest peacefully my dear friend we will miss you so much but we are far richer for having known you and to have shared so many happy memories.
Sending love To you, Carol Kate, Mark, Rob Sorija and family.
