RaymondBARKERPeacefully at rest on Tuesday 14th July 2026, Ray aged 81 years of Trent Vale, now reunited with his beloved wife Christine and his late mum and dad Agnes and Norman, the dearly loved dad of Gareth, a loving father in law to Dawn, a much loved and treasured grandpa to Ollie also a loving brother to Graham and the late Jimmy, Ronnie and June. Ray will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and many friends.

Funeral service and cremation to take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Thursday 20th August 2026 at 11:30am Would friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the Crematorium. Ray's family have requested that all mourners attending the service wear casual clothing and no black attire

Messages of condolence may be left on the funeral directors website. www.kevinlowndsfuneralservices.com No flowers please by request donations would be be preferred in memory of Ray to The Alzheimer's Society A donation box will be available at the crematorium should anyone wish to make a donation on the day.

Worked with Ray at Foden St surgery and stayed friends after leaving for many years, had lots of memorable evenings out as a group of 5, Ray definitely enjoyed being seen out with 4 ladies! So sorry to hear of his passing, such a lovely man - but privileged to have known him. Rest in peace my friend x

Will never forget my uncle Ray's dynamic presence. He filled a room with his energetic personality. Very sad to know he is no longer here. The Barker siblings were one of a kind.
