I will never forget the magic dear Dennis conjured up, at the weekly auction at Standerwick.
Dennis was a one in a million and contributed to one of the happiest times in my life, no doubt’s he will be sorely missed, a true legend.

Thank you Dennis for everything you taught me over our 35 years of working together. It is no overstatement to say I would not be who or where I am today without you. Many thanks and appreciation also from Cath, Jaz and Bella.
I shall miss my Colleague, mentor and friend.

Dennis was a fantastic character who I got to know through many years of his auctioneering at Frome Cattle Market Chattels sales where I bought much old pine furniture over the years. For many years I listened to his jokes whilst selling; a classic being "next up we have three chairs.. hip hip..." I will remember him fondly. A true legend.
Kind wishes to his family.
Regards, Mike John (aka "Mike the Pine")
