CarmeloBENEDETTOof Cambridge passed away at his home on 4th March 2025, surrounded by all of his loved ones.

A much loved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother and uncle, he will be sadly missed.

Kim will be remembered fondly by many friends who knew him from Don Pasquale Restaurant on the market square Cambridge.

Kim's funeral will take place at Our Lady of the Assumption and the English Martyrs Church, Cambridge at 12.15pm on Monday 24th March. Followed by Private interment.

Flowers if desired may be sent or donations made payable to The National Brain Appeal and can be either left at the service or sent care of Southgate of Newmarket Funeral Directors, 25 Duchess Drive, Newmarket, CB8 8AG

The FELLA Family formerly of The Copper Kettle in King’s Parade, have such fond memories of Kim. I remember well when Silvio Fella (my husband) helped him out when Kim first set out on his career in the restaurant business. KIM has been a wonderful and interesting part of Cambridge’s history along with his brothers and families. He has been greatly missed by the Fella family for sometime, but we will always remember him with fondness.

We offer our sincerest condolences to ALL of Kim’s loved ones and we are so greatful for the wonderful part he played in our lives as we grew up in the restaurant business in Cambridge. May peace be with you all. Judy Fella.

There are no words that can do enough justice to what a wonderful man Kim was, he was always generous with his time and always wanted to know what I was up to, he always had a pocket full Of lollies for my children and time for a drink for me, you will not only be missed by your family but the many friends you made in Cambridge over the many years, #RIP my friend xx
