Peter JosephBENSONPassed away peacefully at Roscarrack House, Falmouth on Sunday 21st June 2026, aged 79 years, of Penryn.

A much-loved husband of Julie and a dear Dad of Jodie, Kerry, Ray and Kate and a loving grandad. Forever remembered and sadly missed.

A private family funeral service will take place. A celebration of Peter's life will be held at a later date, and details of the wake will be shared with family and friends in due course.

Family flowers only. Donations, if so desired, in Peter's memory for Dementia UK may be sent c/o David Hendy & Sons Funeral Directors, Treswithian, Camborne, TR14 7NW. Tel: 01209 612025.

Peter, who has been much admired and loved over the years for his calm and loving nature and for his wonderful achievements in Boat building, Clock making and repairing will be deeply missed by his brother John and family, his sisters Pat and Sue and their families.
Our grateful thanks to Julie who has loved and devoted her life to caring for Peter particuarly during his long illness.
We are forever grateful ! xx

What a privilege to have known you Peter and been in your life with your wonderful , loving family .

You were simply one of the nicest men I’ve ever known… a true gentleman, kind, loving, funny and a wonderful , loving husband and Dad which was heartwarming to see.

What an all round lovely human .. I’ll miss you Peter and your one liners ..! Your crinkly eyed full on beaming smiles and quiet loving presence .
