AnnBIRTWISTLEMrs Ann Birtwistle, of Mallard Place, Oswaldtwistle, died in hospital on Saturday, March 20, aged 70. She leaves husband Colin Birtwistle, son Russell Birtwistle, and granddaughter Astra. Ann was a shop assistant at the Co-op before she retired. She enjoyed travelling, and day trips to the seaside. Due to the current government restrictions, a private funeral service will be held for immediate family and invited close friends. No flowers please; donations if desired to Marie Curie Cancer Care. Funeral director: Birtwistle & Rishton, Great Harwood.
