Edgar WilliamBOYETTPeacefully passed away on 17th Nov 2020 at Chestnut View Care Home, Haslemere. Aged 94. Husband to late Pearl Boyett. Father to Mark, Terence & Christine. Grandfather & Great Grandfather. Edgar was a devoted member of the Bahá'í Faith for over 60 yrs. Originally of Portsmouth, moving to Guildford having lived in Nigeria, Australia & South Africa. Recently of Knowle & Haslemere. Edgar will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral at Stoughton Cemetery on December 9th 2020. Funeral Directors G.M. Luff, Haslemere.

Dearest Christine, I was very sad to hear that your Dad passed to the spirit world. He was always available, to advise, guide and console people. He never refused anyone. His shadow was larger than his physical frame.constant, good humoured and immensely practical. Now reunited with other souls who will assuredly look out for you all. Bless him ❤️🌹🙏🏽

A true English gentleman, and yes, so calm when I met him and Pearl on several occasions in Guildford first and then in Weybridge . Met him briefly in Solihull too with Christine, lovely man
