Steven JohnBURGESSTragically and unexpectedly on 11th October 2026, Steve aged 56 years sadly passed away.

Beloved husband of Sam, father to Cameron, loving son of Patricia and the late John, dear son-in-law to Carol and Chris, brother to Michael, brother-in-law to Peter and Ellie, uncle to Kitty, Louie and Sam, "uncle" of Eva, Alex, Liam, Jordan, Joshua, Holly and T, special friend of Laura and Geoff, Ivan and Sue, Joanne and Mark and good friend to many others as well as a lifelong Grimsby Town supporter.

A service to celebrate Steve's life will take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Thursday 12th November 2026 at 1.30pm.

Steve is resting at Mashfords Funeral Home Norfolk Lane Cleethorpes DN35 8BB where immediate family flowers only please will be received.

Donations in lieu, if so desired, maybe made payable to Oasis Charitable Trust oasischaritabletrust.enthuse.com/cf/in-loving-memory-of-steve.

I cannot believe this, We met as Apprentices at College in 1986, then went our separate ways, then Met up again at Tencel SL3 as it changed to Lenzing Fibers in 2005, when I was made redundant from Birdseye.

My thoughts are with your Family at this terrible time and all who know you.
