Mel was such a funny guy, full of character and filled rooms with laughter.

With a heavy heart, I say goodbye,
to a man, who once stood high.

Smiling, laughing and dressed in blue,
always smelling of aftershave too.

You’d ask me, over the years that flew by,
‘Wafer thin ham’? - No, I would sigh.

Fishing, Cars and Bikes you adore,
that’s was Mel, my father-in-law.
