GeoffreyBUTTERFIELDIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Geoff. Reunited with his loving wife Zillah. Much adored Dad to Gail, a very precious Grandad to Linzi. Treasured Father-in-law to Billy. Passed away peacefully on Friday 27th December 2024 aged 87 years.

Dad, Grandad, Brother, Uncle, Brother-in-law or Friend whatever you knew him as, in the words of Geoff "There are people dying today, who have never died before"

If you did have the pleasure of knowing him, remember the happy times, the jokes, the many cups of tea, the holidays, bowling and of course the singing.

Dear Geoff you were one of the nicest chaps I ever had the privilege to meet along life’s way. You and Zillah were good friends over the years. I remember how you both used to drop me home after our evening shift at the hospital had finished. Sleep peacefully reunited with your beloved Zillah. Love always Cath Stokes

So sad that you’ve left us Geoff, but you’re now reunited with your Zilla.
A wonderful man, friend and Grandad Geoff to so many.
I shall miss our Tuesday chats, tea (with no sugars) and watching the City with you but I’ve got some great memories. Thanks.
Good night God bless. Until we meet again. Xx

Only had the pleasure of meeting Geoff a few times at dancing competitions, he was always a happy, friendly guy. He was extremely proud of Gail and Linzi 💕and was happy to support them at the dancing comps.
Rest in peace Geoff, it was nice to have met you xx
