EleanorCARRPassed away peacefully at Leadale Care Home, Richmond Village, Aston on Trent on Monday 25th May 2026, aged 93 years.

Beloved wife of the late Bill, loving mother of Alun, Dawn and Suzanne, cherished grandma to Aeddan and Cara and proud great grandma to Stanley. Eleanor will be greatly missed by all her extended family and friends.

Funeral service to be held at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston on Trent on Monday 22nd June 2026 at 2.30pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired are invited for Alzheimer's Society. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or may be given at the service.

Dear Alun, Dawn and Suzanne

We would like to pass on our condolences to you for the passing away of your mother Eleanor. We know the last few years have been very challenging for you all, given Eleanor's deteriorating health. We are relieved that Eleanor is no longer suffering. We are sorry we cannot be with you today but will be thinking of you and Eleanor as you celebrate her life, and send our love. Eleanor - May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
