RichardCARTERRichard James Carter of Wigston Magna, devoted husband of the late Maureen and loving father of Sylvia, George, Jane and Simon and a special grandad to Alice, Luke, Lauren, Isabella and Tabitha and great grandad to Myles.

Richard passed away on 5th August at the age of 90. Known through his work at Bentley Engineering, Corah's and the Land Registry, his love of cricket and his passion for church bell ringing. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral to be held at All Saints Church, Wigston Magna, Wednesday 28th August at 10am - where he rang the bells for 80 years - followed by interment at Wigston Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, but donations in his memory to Wigston Framework Knitters Museum and the Leicester Diocesan Guild of Church Bell Ringers.

The family would like to thank the staff of Bluebird Care and Cedar Court Care Home, Wigston, for their dedicated care over the last year.
