AlanCHADWICKHilda, Alan, Tony, Peter, Elaine, Mark and their families would sincerely like to thank family, friends and work colleagues past and present, for their kind words of sympathy, cards of condolence, beautiful flowers, and donations to The Christie, that they have received following their sad loss. The family would like to pay tribute to Dr Sarah Hughes, Alan's oncologist at The Christie, to Zoe Nichol, his lung cancer specialist nurse, and to Allison Sutcliffe, his palliative care nurse. To Dr Simon Rhodes, his GP, who looked after Alan with care and diligence throughout his illness, we will always remember you and your wonderful team of district nurses, especially Kristina, who tended to with him great kindness and compassion. Our thanks to Philip Perrin for a comforting ceremony, and to Michelle and the staff at Dixons Funeral Service, for their exceptional assistance and support at a very difficult time. Finally, to Spotland Social Club for their help and hospitality at relatively short notice. (Danny)
