Dr Robin John Ma(Oxon), Mast(Cantab), Phd.CHAPMANFormerly of Richardson Street, Sandfields, Swansea died suddenly and unexpectedly on 18th October 2020, aged just 57. Proud son of the late Syril and Marjorie Chapman, much loved brother of Keith and sister in law Susan. Devoted Uncle to his only nephew, Ewan. Robin was a cherished member of the worldwide mathematical community and will be greatly missed by his remaining relatives, students and colleagues across the world. He built a strong network of friends and colleagues across the globe but especially at Oxford, Cambridge, Exeter and Bristol Universities. He has gone too soon but his work lives on. He will forever be in our hearts. A celebration of Robin's life will take place on 23rd November but will be streamed live for others.
