Nan, I remember the car trips to crealy and getting lost because grandad read the map wrong, it was always an adventure. The smell of your boiled fruit cake with tons of butter on! I still now cannot eat fruit cake without it. Cheese sandwiches with half a block of cheese in each one and letting us lick the spoon after your very sticky and amazing flapjacks. Im sire one christmas one of the cousins tried mustard for the first time at your house and the redness of their face made everyone laugh.
It was at your house I fell in love with country music (think that was grandads records) and the sound of a piano. I remember the most exciting thing was being allowed to hoover up crumbs with the push along little hoover and spending time helping at the salvation army table top sales and being part of trailblazers.
I came to see you when you got sick, the last time you didn't really know I was there. Not until I said goodbye you turned to me and said "goodbye love" and you sounded how I remembered. Say hello to Grandad, Storm and Logan for me. Until we meet again. I love you.
