I will always remember Hugh as the human encyclopedia. To this day I do not know if he was extremely knowledgeable or just very convincing.....

Dear Paul & Keith. I'm very sorry for your loss. Your father's memory, like the vital role of bats in our ecosystem, will continue to resonate. Bats contribute greatly to biodiversity by controlling insect populations and pollinating plants, silently supporting the balance of nature. In a similar way, your father’s life and spirit have quietly enriched life and the environment. I’m sure his contributions and presence will be deeply missed but always remembered, much like the invaluable role these creatures play. May you find comfort in reflection and knowing his legacy lives on in all he touched. With heartfelt sympathy, Nick.

In memory of Hugh and his family with whom I spent many great times when we were growing up.

I was very pleased to attend the ceremony to remember him, learn more about him and to say goodbye. My thoughts are with Janice and his sons and families.
