PeterCLEGG, married to Gwen for 62 years, Father to Ruth, Bob, Lisa, Father in Law to John, Tracey and Grandad to Daniel, Jake, Beth, Evie, David and Luke, passed away peacefully on 21st July 2023 at Nottingham City Hospital, aged 87 years old.
Peter will be extremely missed by family and friends alike, as well as the Construction Community in Nottingham.
The family invite those who knew Peter, to join them in celebrating his life at a service on Friday 18th August 2023 3:45pm at Rushcliffe Oaks, Stragglethorpe and afterwards at the Apple Tree Pub, Compton Acres.
The family have suggested that donations to the charity Forget-Me-Notts would be preferable, in place of floral tributes. Please see link below.

Peter and Gwen attended a weekly group, run by the Forget-Me-Notts charity, where they took part in enrichment activities such as, sporting games, and social outings; this provided Peter and Gwen with much needed friendship, advice and support around living with Dementia.
The group cannot continue without funding, so your gift, in Peter's memory, would ensure that people diagnosed with dementia, alongside their families, can benefit from this provision for the rest of the year and hopefully beyond.
