We are very sorry that we were unable to pay our final respects to Howard, who was such a kind and supportive friend for nearly forty years. He was a man of great integrity, deep faith, kindness, humanity and generosity, with an irrepressible sense of humor. He was also a gifted artist and educator who will be greatly missed by many friends, supporters, students, former colleagues, community members, neighbors and all whose lives he touched over the years. Our deepest sympathies go out to Carole and the family.
