RIP cousin Tricia

Pat was my cousin and the sister I never had. Our family name for her was Tricia. When we were very young we lived with our families in Derwent Street Ordsall. Tricia's husband John said Ordsall was the slum area of Salford. Cheeky chops !!! Tricia in her younger days worked in Woolworths on the sweety counter in Chorlton -cum-Hardy with her sister Elaine. Aunty Margaret (my mum) was in charge of the haberdashery counter. In retrospect I found this funny as mum couldn't sew a bottom on a school cardy !! I was a bridesmaid at Tricia and John's wedding. Just before the speeches the wedding cake started to collapse and Tricia did a wonderful job of catching the top tier. I always loved Tricia very much. I will always love and.miss her X

One of the kindest ladys I have ever had the pleasure of meeting - nothing was too much trouble. Thinking of your family at this time. You will be missed dearly. Rest in Peace Pat xXx
