Joseph "Joe"CRAWFORDCRAWFORD JOSEPH "JOE" (Longbenton) Peacefully in the RVI 26th February aged 83 years, with family by his side. Joe, devoted husband of the late Margaret, a beloved father of Paul, Steven, Jacqueline and Thomas. A much loved father in law to Julie, Julian and to the late Elizabeth and Ann. Adored granda and great grandfather, a loved brother, brother in law, uncle and friend. A gentle man loved by all. In accordance with Covid-19 restrictions a small, private service will be held. Family flowers only, donations to the "British Lung Foundation". The service will be streamed online please contact Coop Funeralcare Forest Hall 0191 2599964 for details. Joe's family wish to celebrate his life with all family and friends later in the year after restrictions have been lifted.

I feel very blessed that I knew Joe Crawford. He was one of the nicest people you could ever meet and a truly gentle soul. This world is much the poorer for losing Joe.
